Meet the Authors and Illustrators
Each month, Children's Literature features interviews with several authors or illustrators. The interviews are accompanied by reviews of the author or illustrator's books from our extensive database. In addition, we also provide links to numerous author and illustrator web sites. Follow this link to view our extensive author/illustrator index.
Reading Guides and Teaching Materials
In addition to the background material for a book, some authors have prepared teaching guides or teaching aids. With the inclusion of trade books in the classroom, these guides can help by making suggestions for use of a book across the curriculum. Some of the guides can be downloaded at no charge, others are previewed and are available at a modest cost (particularly those with audio visual materials). Children's Literature is interested in providing teaching materials that educators, librarians, and school media specialists have developed. If you are interested in providing a guide send us a message or give us a call.
