Dave Bouchard
Dave Bouchard was born and raised on the prairie. He has been an educator all his life, first as a teacher and then as an administrator. Dave was based in Regina for most of his career, with the exception of three years he spent in Germany. Dave moved to the west coast in 1989 and is now the Principal of l'Ecole Pauline Johnson in West Vancouver. He lives in North Vancouver and is the proud father of two sons, Adrien and Etienne.
Dave is the author of the award winning The Elders Are Watching, as well as the bestsellers If You're Not from the Prairie and Voices from the Wild. The combination of art and poetry in Dave's books have made them excellent sellers and difficult to categorize.
Dave is a popular performer who has spoken at schools across the country. He has been highlighted at the Vancouver, Banff and Victoria International Writers Festivals and has keynoted at numerous professional conferences. Dave Bouchard would be delighted to make himself available for publicity events as often as possible.
