Spreading The News Candace Deisley, a member of the 2003 Caldecott Committee writes, "The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database is invaluable to any member of an awards committee. The covers of new titles are shown with bibliographic information, and reviews from respected periodicals and practitioners are quoted. Hotlinks to other books on the same topic, or by the same author, or those reviewed by the same person are given. Finally, MARC records and Library of Congress and Dewey classifications are given. A well rounded snapshot of any title which might be considered for a new award, CLCD is the most useful tool I know."Valentines are special messages we send to our best friends to let them know we care.
