THE CHILDREN'S LITERATURE COMPREHENSIVE DATABASE NOW INCLUDES REVIEWS FROM THE HEART OF TEXAS LITERATURE CENTER

   The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database Company, LLC (CLCD) is pleased to announce the most recent addition to its growing list of review media. Book reviews from LORGNETTE, the Quarterly Review of Children's and Young Adults' Books published by the Heart of Texas Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, will soon be available on the World Wide Web through CLCD. The Heart of Texas reviews are written by teachers, university professors, published authors and librarians living in the state. The reviews are intended for the use of professionals working with children and young adults so they may be aware of the best books available.

   The CLCD database contains over 500,000 MARC records and more than 50,000 full-text reviews from twelve other review sources, including Kirkus, VOYA, Media & Methods, and Science Books and Films. Approximately 1,000 new reviews are added each month.
