Bethesda MD - March 7, 2002 - The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) is pleased to announce that the children's book reviews from Booklist, an American Library Association publication, will soon be available in the database. Reviews from 1992 to the present will be included. "Booklist has a highly-regarded reviewing staff that is respected throughout the library world," says Marilyn Courtot, founder of the CLCD Company. "I know that our CLCD subscribers will be as delighted as we are to have the Booklist reviews of children's books available at their fingertips." Mary Frances Wilkens of Booklist stated, "We at Booklist know that librarians and teachers need easy, up-to-date access to information about children's literature. The CLCD helps toward that end by bringing together so many important review sources. I'm happy that Booklist reviews will be part of this unique database."
