CLCD ADDS BRITISH REVIEW SOURCE

May 15, 2006 - The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database Company, LLC (CLCD) is pleased to announce that reviews from Books for Keeps, the UK's leading magazine about the children's book industry, are now accessible through CLCD. Books for Keeps was launched in 1980 and currently has a readership of over 45,000 worldwide. The journal reviews over 1,000 children's books each year including fiction, poetry and nonfiction, paperback and hardback. Reviews are organized into helpful teaching ranges with special Editor's Choice and New Talent slots which aim to support fresh, original writing and illustrating for children.

"With so many titles published simultaneously and consecutively in the US and the UK it seems only natural that we participate in the CLCD. Our subscriber base is quite similar: librarians, teachers, publishers, university students and professors," states Richard Hill, Managing Director of Books for Keeps.

"One of our goals is to broaden our base for our international clientele. In addition to the wide range of quality reviews from American sources the CLCD also includes reviews from Resource Links and Canadian Review of Materials (Canada), Inis (Ireland), and Lollipops - What's on For Kids (Australia). We are delighted that we can now offer our subscribers access to these fine reviews from the UK. In expanding our scope we open new avenues for all our subscribers," adds Marilyn Courtot, President of the CLCD Company, LLC.
